RAMADAN NIGHT MARKET STARTS ON JUNE 1

Date : 2017-05-20 13:17:00

Dubai: Ramadan Night Market, Dubai’s largest night souq organized during the month, will mark its return this year with a fresh flavor and exciting activities.

The popular lifestyle exhibition will be held between June 1 and 10 at Hall 7 and 8, Dubai World Trade Centre, from 8 pm to 2 am, the organizers said in a press release.

Now in its sixth edition, the expected footfall this year is above 80,000.

Catering to a diverse and cosmopolitan clientele from Dubai and beyond, the 10-day market remains one of the most anticipated events during Ramadan, combining a fruitful shopping experience with a plethora of fun, tempting deals, and discounts, competitive games, daily themed activities for adults and children, interactive competitions and a massive food court that has proven to be a crowd-puller.

The night market will be offering products ranging from garments to leather items, jewelry and accessories, health and beauty products, personal care products, perfumes, food items, toys, and baby item, handicrafts, souvenirs and collectibles, travel and tourism products and much more.

Moreover, the exhibition will feature a grand majlis, henna majlis, health clinic and free vision tests among other engaging activities for people looking for some indoor fun and frolic during the hot June days.

A fresh feature in this year’s night market, themed activities will spring a new surprise every day, with the goal to break a few world records. Thrilling entertainment such as interactive cooking sessions, painting, quiz and karaoke competitions and a game of product hunting within a time frame will keep the visitors charged and wake up their competitive spirit.

“We are very excited about this year’s Ramadan Night Market and confident that the new features will be a showstopper,” said Samantha Cordeiro Miranda, deputy general manager- Marketing and Communications at Sumansa Exhibitions, the event organizers.

“Ahead of Eid, and during the long, hot days in Ramadan, many activities come to a halt and people are generally looking for an outing where they can club their shopping with family fun time, and the night souk fills the gap nicely. Shopping too goes into overdrive during Ramadan and just before Eid as people hunt for products specific to the occasion. This is where Ramadan Night Market strikes a chord with thousands since it offers a multitude range of products that are not easily accessible in other days.”

The lifestyle exhibition is also a great opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the collection to the right target audience, launch a new product line, meet the consumer, create awareness about the new product and much more, the organizers said.
