Welcome to Italy the Land of the Mystique! On arrival in Rome, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax. Rome comes alive at night and you will not miss the opportunity to see its most beautiful monuments illuminated. In the evening you will be taken to enjoy this panoramic Rome Illuminations tour which starts at around 1900 hours. Some of the sights you pass by include The Fountain of the Nayads, The Exhibition Palace, Piazza Venezia with its Tomb to the Unknown Soldier and the Capitoline Hill. Glimpse the Imperial Roman Age as you drive by and admire the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine and the Circus Maximus. Leap into the Papal era when, driving along the banks of the Tiber, you see the Jewish Quarter complete with synagogue and the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo close by that heralds your approach to St. Peter’s. Set in the ancient Aurelian Walls that frame part of the Villa Borghese Park, you’ll see a couple of the most beautiful gateways in Rome: Porta Flaminia through which you can admire the Piazza del Popolo and Porta Pinciana, through which you reach the famous Via Veneto symbol of “la dolce vita” in Rome.

Enjoy spectacular views over the bay of Naples as you make your way to a traditional restaurant, where you will savour Italy´s finest dish. Pizza. Continue ascending Mt. Vesuvius until you reach 1000 metres and take in the unusual beauty such as pine forests and lush woods, bright yellow flowers and an uncanny volcanic landscape. Explore the active volcano with your tour guide (entrance tickets not included), admire the breath-taking views and discover the best of Mt. Vesuvius National Park. As you descend, reflect on the beauty and ferocity of mother nature as you make your way back to Naples after an eye-opening and jaw-dropping adventure on the second most dangerous volcano in the world.

Discover Capri from Naples

You will depart from Naples for a relaxing trip of one hour before taking the boat to reach the island. Here you can freely explore and discover Capri, walk aimlessly in the alleys of the center, relive ancient times among the archaeological finds of Villa Jovis and a hike to Monte Solaro. Then the wonderful view by boat around the island, after the Salto di Tiberio you see the Faraglioni. It is said that all couples exchanging a kiss under the arch will stay together forever. Numerous fascinating caves, including the Green Grotto, named for the emerald water reflections. Among other destinations recommended are the Punta Carena Lighthouse, the second largest in Italy, the Blue Grotto and the Natural Arch. There are several planned stops for swimming and snorkelling. Port of Marina Grande with a stop of 4/5 hours to explore the island of Capri. After, come aboard and enjoy relaxing and tasting limoncello.

Naples : 3 star hotel

  • Rome hotels charge a city tax (EUR 4.0 per person per night for 2- and 3-star hotels, EUR 6.0 per person per night for 4 star and EUR 7.0 per person per night for 5 star) which has to be paid directly at hotels at the time of check-out. This tax does not apply to children under 10 years of age
  • All Tours and Transfers in Rome depart from a common pickup point and you will have to reach the pickup point on your own (unless mentioned otherwise in inclusions)
  • At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy).
