Arrival at Port Blair

Arrival at Port Blair
  • Fly in to Port Blair Airport. Our representative will meet and assist you at the Veer Savarkar Airport. Board the waiting vehicles, drive to your hotel / resort and check in.
  • First half of the day is at leisure. Later in the afternoon visit Cellular jail followed by light and sound show.
  • The Cellular Jail has a pride of place in India's freedom struggle. Many a stalwart were imprisoned here. Declared a national memorial, this three storey prison constructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

  • Today, embark on a half day trip to two Island cruise. It covers a panorama of seven harbors that includes North Bay and Ross Island which will leave a lasting impression.
  • Ross Island - Once the administrative headquarters of the British and capital of these Islands, the island is now under the Indian Navy. It stands now as a ruin of the bygone days with the old structures almost in debris. There is a small museum named Smritika, it holds photographs and the other antiques of the Britishers relevant to these Islands. The Island is famous for friendly flocks of Deer and lush green walking trails.
  • North Bay - The water lovers may enjoy Snorkeling or Glass bottom boat ride (Optional) in its shallow waters with a chance to see corals up close and also has mesmerizing picnic spots with natural picturesque environment. Return to the hotel by evening for overnight stay.

Full Day Trip to Mount Harriet & Chidiya Tapu

Today post breakfast get a pick up from hotel at 09:30AM. The trip begins at Chatham ferry where you board a vehicle ferry that takes you to Bambooflat. We then drive around 15 Kilometres through the coast and later through the curvy mountain roads to reach Mount Harriet - the highest peak in the South Andaman archipelago. Its natural charm and beauty attracts a lot of visitors. The natural flora and fauna can not be matched. The greenery everywhere provides one an immense feel that one is in a deep forest. From the top of the peak, one can get a magnificent view of the Port Blair city, the Ross Island and the Havelock Island. You can even trek for some time around Mount Harriet. Later after completion we come back through the same route. Take your lunch and we proceed to Chidiya tapu around 30kms from main city; this place is famous for its sunset view and for bird watching. Varieties of birds visit this place

  • Today after breakfast you will transfer to Jetty to board ferry/cruise to Havelock Island. Havelock, about 54 kilometres northeast of Port Blair, the Island is a hidden jewel.
  • Havelock is a serene tropical island encompassing about 86 square kilometres. Its clear waters are rated among the best in the world for Snorkeling and scuba diving. Close to 1000 different species of marine life inhabit the waters of the Andaman Islands. Scuba divers can see nudi branches, sea slugs and snails, varieties of ghost pipe fish, jaw fish and a number of different crustaceans of all shapes and sizes. With its serene beaches, 40 meters visibility underwater, colourful coral reefs and ‘far from the maddening crowd’ appeal. Havelock Island has emerged as a dream destination among discerning travellers. Arrive at Havelock Jetty, you are met and assisted by our representative.
  • Board the waiting vehicles and drive to the hotel. After check-in, relax a little. In the evening, proceed to Kalapathar Beach. Stay until sunset and return to hotel for overnight stay at Havelock.

After Breakfast proceed for Radhanagar Beach (or Beach No. 7) is the jewel in the crown of Havelock Island. Located on the western side of the Island, it stands away from the cluster. The glorious white sand beach shot to global fame when Time magazine (in 2004) rated it as the finest in Asia. With lush tropical forest rising on a hill to one side, the draw of this white sand beach has steadily grown in the legion of avid beach buffs. The popularity of this beach has triggered cruises from across the Andaman Sea. Travellers cruise over a few days from Thailand to experience the magic of this beach in particular. A wide beach that runs over a few kilometres, Radhanagar is simply stunning. It lends itself to a variety of activities. return to the hotel for overnight stay.

All passengers traveling to Andamans have to undergo RT-PCR Covid test and carry a negative PCR Test report with them issued by an ICMR recognized laboratory to avoid inconvenience at Port Blair airport within 48 hours of their arrival.

  • Ferry for Ross Island leaves at fixed timings and request you to ensure at WSC at the given time.
  • July - August is generally rainy season in Andamans and beaches may be closed if climatic conditions are not favorable .Water sports activities and excursions may be subject to weather conditions.
  • Due to limited ferries guest may have to wait until their ferries is allotted and we have no control over the wait time
  • In case ferry (Makruzz, Coastal Cruise and Green Ocean etc.) is not operational due to weather conditions, technical issues or other unavoidable reasons, We shall make the best possible alternate arrangements. However, We will not be liable for any refund claims arising from this and will not be held responsible for cancellation of ferry
  • Please carry change of clothes, towel, cap, sunglasses, sunscreen and wear comfort clothing for doing water sports
  • Andamans overall has poor network connectivity hence phones and internet may not work properly. BSNL works the best in almost all island in Andaman
  • Andamans overall has very limited ATM’s so we suggest to carry sufficient cash as the EDC Machines (Machines to swipe card) may not work due to poor network
  • Language and food culture is influenced by Bengal and Tamil Nadu
  • No pharmacies except in Port Blair (Suggest to carry general medicines )
  • Cars provided will not be at disposal. It will be at point to point service 
  • Itineraries may change according to weather conditions and delays
  • It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo ID’s (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID
  • Please do not click pictures in the Portblair Airport, as it is a Defence Airport
  • All hotels in Andaman have an early morning check out time (8 AM) and late checkout is provided at the discretion of the hotel management. Luggage can be kept in reception post check out
  • The days when you leave early morning for Sightseeing, you need to collect your packed breakfast from the hotel
  • While going to Cellular Jail ,please take a guide which is Rs:200 for you to understand the history of the place (Not compulsion)
  • Since it is a Coastal area it is advised to carry light clothes, sun glasses and sun screen
  • Cellular Jail is closed on Monday and on all Govt holidays. Ross Island is closed on Wednesday and Govt holidays
  • Museums at Port Blair are closed on Govt holidays. (Samudrika Marine is closed on Mondays and Anthropological Museum is closed on Thursday)
  • Glass bottom boat ride, snorkelling, water sports are at an extra cost at North Bay. 
  • Diving and Sea Walk can be done at an extra cost at North Bay. 
  • You cannot go the Radhanagar beach after sunset, so please manage your time accordingly or instructed by the local tour coordinator
  • If Elephant beach is non-operational, Nemo Reef/ Kala Patthar will be arranged as an alternative or any other option as recommended by the local tour coordinator
  • Guests who have pre-booked Scuba or Sea walk shall be provided the activity in Havelock as per time slot availability.
  • It is advisable to seek your doctor’s advice before undertaking activities like Scuba or Sea walk, especially in case of any pre-existing medical issues.
  • At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
  • Any ticket to attractions, museums, train, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
