Travelling with Kids: Really?

Considering the daily work–home–school–family routine, most parents prefer vacationing to detoxify! Some prefer to do it alone, some with their spouses, opting out the kids from the plans. They reason out that taking kids along can be exhausting. There is a cohort which thinks kids may not remember the travel experiences when they grow up. Let me give you three reasons why take kids for a vacation.

Travelling not only means new places to see but also relishing the food of the town, experiencing a new culture, understanding a new language and socializing with new people. It pushes them out of their comfort zone, nurturing their self -confidence. It also helps to build up their patience when they can take on the challenges of travelling such as stress and hunger.

Travelling also promotes a strong bond for the family that lasts a lifetime. During family trips, parents are more relaxed and focused on bonding with their kids without having to think of work or household. It provides a break from the daily routines of life. This is a great opportunity for parents to play around and catch up with their kids. Kids develop a feeling of belonging and security which proves beneficial in their social development and confidence.
